Kidder Creek 2021— What’s the plan?

We’re excited to announce that planning for summer 2021 is underway! Of course, there are many unknowns, but because Kidder Creek’s ministry focuses on getting people outside in God’s creation, we are anticipating being able to operate our traditional summer programs with additional COVID-19 cleaning and safety protocols in place.

Right now our plan includes both Ranch Camp and Timberline Adventure programs alongside our off-site adventure trips like Wilderness and Mountain Bike Camp. Our program’s focus on small group ministry led by our counselors will help us keep contact between cabin groups at a minimum and ultimately limiting the risk of transmission.

This summer we’re also looking forward to expanding our family ministries by continuing with our parent child programs like Mother/Daughter Ranch Camp, and adding overnight Family Adventure Camps in both weekend and week-long format. Families will be able to rent a cabin, bring their RV, or camp in a tent and enjoy some of the best adventures the north state has to offer. The focus of all our family ministries is to grow healthy and resilient families by setting parents up to succeed as the spiritual teachers of the family and create family memories that will last a lifetime.

We’re excited to begin the process of summer staff recruiting and will be working with local and state health officials to ensure summer 2021 is as safe as possible. If you or someone you know is interested in joining us for the summer on staff please check out whyiworkatcamp.com. In addition, we hope to have summer registration open for campers in January 2021!
